do not waste food

its really sad to see food outlets throw their excess food into the garbage plastic bag when its time to close!

i was at ikea's dunkin donuts. it was 11pm. a worker was throwing away donuts from 2 trays into the huge black plastic bag. so i walked to him and pretended to buy donuts even thought i know the fact that it has closed.

me :: encik, saya nak beli donut!
doesnt-wanna-layan :: dah tutup
me :: tapi, boleh bagi saya donut tu. nak buang ke?
doesnt-wanna-layan :: (he gave me 4 chocolate donuts)

cant they give it to the orphanage homes? its such a waste to throw it away when its still edible. they arent allowed to bring home, its the law. if there isnt such of that law, those fella will make lots lots lots of donuts and bring it home for their families. i heard that in mcdees, if the burgers are display for 10 minutes and nobody orders it, mcdees will throw it away. so, in order to waste food, mcdees will make the burger on the spot when peeps order it.

i am not a donut fan, but i could tell that the chocolate donuts are hard, its not nice. do not hesitate to ask for wateva food that are edible, when you know its gonna be thrown to the garbage.
