yesterday was a fabulous day whereby i saw my beloved brother performed. it was a concert that shouldnt be missed by ME.
he promised to give an extra oomph compared to other 'HeroesOfEarth' concert, and he kept his words. I find that he is having flu as his voice is weird.
It was the one and only HeroesOfEarth concert with special guest - JJ. They dueted a song - WhatFriendsAreFor. Before that, they dueted another song, JJ sang Leehom's Ni Bu Zai while playing on the white grandpiano, and Leehom sang JJ's song (dunno whats d title coz i dont listen to JJ) on a blackish grand piano. If you have seen OneInTheMillion GrandFinale of Faizal's and you went wow with his arrangement of 3-in-1 song (L.O.V.E, Gavin Degraw's I dont wanna be and another song)... i bet you will be saying zillion wow wow wow the way how JJ and Leehom arranged the songs. JJ played and sang quater of NiBuZai, then leehom came in by singing JJ's song, then it switched back to JJ on Nibuzai, then Leehom. they performed 2-in-1 song using their respective grand pianos. in my opinion, after listening to JJ's voice, his voice is not as powerful as Leehom. He cant streched his vocal to the high notes in NiBuZai.. eer, i think i shoudnt go any further coz there is a JJ fan in the house..*in my blog i mean.. haha*
i know this is pathetic but i yawned approx 6 times during d concert,due to a freaking lousy seat whereby i cant even grab leehom's stokin. i was freaking bored coz everybody else is singing along and all i could do is stare at Leehom during his slow emotional romantic songs. cant help it from a girl who has limited mandarin vocabularies, and doesnt know how to sing along . i attended his concert coz hes talented. how often do you see a musician plays 5 instruments. and one of d reasons i attend it to see his fast-rapping in ZaiMeiBian. rapping in mandarin leads to tongue twisting, and i told myself that no human will rap extermenly fast in mandarin. But my perspective changed when i watched that part yesteryday. During his Julia song * when is he gonna name a song after my name, i'm waiting*, he ran to the right stage to throw his bowing talent on the violin, and the crowd laughed when he said "i dont have my microphone with me" thru the violin's microphone. then he ran back to the centre of d stage to get his microphone entertained his die-hard fans of 25000 with "this is my microphone". you will find it cute when he says that if you are there.
Everybody was shouting for encore, he came out with CelcomShirt. the 2nd last song - BuKeNengCuoGuoNi- was the best, was the bomb, it did keep the temperature in the concert risiiiing even higher although all the audience knew that the night is going to end soon. Fans were jumping on their terriroties as thou they has taken esctasy pills, dancers were storming their feets and running wildly on the stage, Leehom was jumping, purposely sung badly like someone has a short tongue and running from one corner to the other corner of d stage. BuKeNengCuoGuoNi really gives me the impression that he has a great showmanship, a good contact with his fans. He told his fans to sing as quietly as possible at certain parts, but he jokingly scolded his fans when they sung loudly.
Later, he told everyone to stand up and everybody never fails to give him a really loud applause, before he sung his last song- WeiYi. Even an auntie who sat in front of me stood up. Look, how powerful his words are. The tension of him performing has reduced and he went cheeky-friendly-mood. Yesterday was the finale HeroesOfEarth world tour concert and now hes moving on with his upcoming album. He laughed when introducing one of the dancers to the audience while d particular dancer was drinking water. ooh yeah, the crowd cheered loudly when he introduced 2 of d band members are from malaysia. Leehom cracked silly actions that he is very sure his fans would like to see, je walked with 2 hands to the left stage. He ran like a mischevious kiddo to the right stage. To wrap the whole nite, his dancer poured a mineral water to his head and his CelcomT-Shit was wet. Aint he down to earth to support and wear Celcom shirt?
I guess hes going to learn turntable and breakdance since he has already know how to play drum,piano,guitar,erhu,violin, walk with 2 hands, dance a lil and speaks 5 languages as far as i know.
It was definitely worth to watch concert by a guy who has influenced me to keep up with my piano spirit. But i wasnt satisfied with my seat. so-damn-far-away. Hopefully if i'm around,i will attend next year's concert with better seat! I got a pretty good seat offer less than 24 hours before the concert started, the seat whereby i get to grab leehom's shoe- haha- but neeway, i turned it down coz its only a tix left. I really appreciate that Vi accompanied me to the concert that i have been dying for. Sorry for the trouble that i had given you to attend it.
*blink*now i can die peacefully after watching leehom's concert for 2.5 hours*blink*you may kill me now with my arms wide open*
Vi:: i wanna learn DJ-ing. Learn how to spin the plates.
Me:: There is a school that teaches us how to do table-turn. or turn-table. I will check it out.
im praying that the fees wont be that expensive. my next chapter is that although i have been wanting to learn drum badly more than half a decade ago. hehe. If i'm not mistaken the turntable cost more than a drum set.
as i was buying star lrt ticket back,

vi :: are you sure?
me :: i think so. but then he doesnt walk like that right
vi :: haha. i dont think kennysia will come to this concert.
me :: i think he is kennysia la. i will give him one week to blog about this event. if he blogs bout it, he is the one.
